Ok, I was hoping that you guys would handle this topic with actual research into fetishism, but I was quite disappointed when you mis-used the term fetish.
There has been a terrible blurring of the term fetish which has grown in the last 3-8 years, thank you to the Internet & WWW.
The proper definition of fetish, in a sexual manner, is “3. Psychology. Any object or non-genital part of the body that causes a habitual erotic response or fixation.” REF: http://www.dictionary.com
Freud’s initial presentation of it involved, and is still understood, to have a fixation on an object which requires its presence to allow the person fixated with it to achieve orgasm.
It has blurred, through improper usage, to include kink.
The majority of your latest show involved kink, but not fetishism.
Eric’s older “friend” had a fetish with shoes…a very strong fetish with shoes.
Andrea has a “kink” about spanking, but certainly didn’t suggest that she needs to be spanked in order to orgasm.
As for what you will do with my “particularity” for this definition, I leave that to you.
A future possible topic might be Bondage (please separate this from S&M) and discussions about proper technique, dangers (please note that a discussion of dangers was woefully missing from the discussion on anal sex/play that you presented) and accoutrements.
Use in the show if you wish.

Eric here and while I appreciate your additions, I was approaching a broader definition of fetish. Your definition is more of a compulsive disorder defined by psychologists (which you strengthen by quoting Freud who had quite a few sexual compulsions as well). Andrea and I chose to use the currently more common definition of something that illicits a sexual response by and of itself unrelated to sex. Not a necessary/required thing to acheive sexual satisfaction.
Andrea happens to get an “extra charge” out of being spanked while having sex. This could have come from prior conditioning (ala Freud) but has not moved to the compulsion stage.
Indulgence over Abstinence!
Control over Compulsion!
